  1. Julia Seed Help Information
  2.  
  3. Julia  pictures  are  mathematically
  4. related to Mandelbrot pictures.  The
  5. Julia  picture  you get depends on a
  6. seed that is  based  on  a  location
  7. within  the  Mandelbrot   set.    To
  8. create a Julia picture, open  a  new
  9. Julia  project,  set the Julia Seed,
  10. and start generating.  You  set  the
  11. seed  by  performing  the  following
  12. steps:

  14.   1. Make sure you have a Mandelbrot
  15.      project from which to  set  the
  16.      Julia Seed.
  17.  
  18.   2. Open a new Julia project  using
  19.      the JULIA subitem  of  the  New
  20.      Project menu item.
  21.  
  22.   3. Select the Julia Seed  item  of
  23.      the Zoom menu  item,  or  press
  24.      the  "J"  button  in  the right
  25.      margin of the new Julia project.

  27.   4. Click   the    mouse    cursor
  28.      somewhere  in   a    Mandelbrot
  29.      project picture.

  31.   5. Start   generating   the  Julia
  32.      picture.

  35. First try setting the seeds from the
  36. Mandelbrot preset named "Big  Brot".
  37. This  Mandelbrot  picture  will give
  38. you  the  widest  variety  of  Julia
  39. curves.
